What You'll Do

In this role, your primary focus will be depositions in civil litigation defense matters.

Responsibilities include:

  • Take and defend depositions of homeowners and witnesses in civil defense matters
  • Prepare thoroughly for depositions, including case review and witness preparation
  • Develop and manage deposition strategy in coordination with litigation teams
  • Handle post-deposition reporting and summaries
  • Support related pre-trial litigation tasks as needed
  • Participate in remote hearings, depositions, and teleconference proceedings

This is a fully remote role and requires dependable availability during scheduled video proceedings and for team coordination.

What We're Looking For

You'll succeed in this role if you:

  • Hold an active California Bar license
  • Bring at least 3 years of deposition experience
  • Have a background in civil litigation defense
  • Are comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
  • Maintain a reliable remote work setup with strong attention to deadlines and communication
